What is Activate & Barrel?

Activate & Barrel is an AI-driven sales engagement platform that integrates WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and email into a single workflow. It helps sales teams generate more responses, manage relationships at scale, and cut down the cost of SDRs, all while keeping a human touch.

How is it different from a CRM?

We don’t replace your CRM, we extend it. CRMs such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Pipedrive are great for storing data. Activate & Barrel focuses on activating conversations and keeping your pipeline alive. It will plug into your CRM, automates outreach, and helps you manage follow-ups and relationship strength directly. (Full CRM sync is currently in development.)

Which channels does it support?

Currently:

  • LinkedIn (messaging + follow-ups)

  • WhatsApp personal, WhatsApp for Business (single and group messages + follow-ups)

  • Email (sending)

We have integrations with HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, and more, with Instagram DM, Facebook Messenger, and others on our roadmap.

Does it use AI to send messages automatically?

No, you’ll be fully in control. Our AI suggests icebreakers, follow-ups, and re-engagement messages. You can, edit, or reject them before sending efficiently. You’ll know and remember what you have sent. Think 95% automation, 5% human touch.

How does the AI learn my style?

It adapts to your tone by training on your inputs from transcripts, and tone of voice documents which we’ll help you produce plus emails, brochures, notes, and even voice recordings. The tool drafts messages in your natural voice.

We offer tiered monthly subscriptions depending on seats and features. Most teams choose our mid-tier, which includes multi-channel outreach, AI message drafts, and CRM integration.

Can I try it before buying?

Yes. We offer a free trial for early adopters. You can test messaging automation, CRM sync, and dashboards before committing. Currently we’ve launched with our first customers on invitation-only basis and are considering opening for the general market in the fourth quarter of 2025.

What is the Activate Engine?

The Activate Engine is your AI co-pilot. It reviews your pipeline, identifies high-priority prospects, and drafts suggested responses across LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and email. You can approve or edit them in bulk — keeping outreach moving without hours of manual typing.

What is the Conversations view?

The Conversations screen brings all your outreach channels into one feed. You can see LinkedIn, WhatsApp, email, and phone interactions side by side, with indicators like “Response needed” so you never miss a follow-up.

What is the CRM Hub?

The CRM Hub is a built-in CRM that tracks companies, prospects, deals, and win rate. It gives you an at-a-glance view of your pipeline without leaving the platform, and you can add companies, prospects, or create new deals directly. It leverages the AI capabilities of the tool to automate most of the updates to the CRM for prospects.

How does data import work?

The Data Import Hub automatically connects your LinkedIn, Gmail, and WhatsApp accounts. Once linked, the system:

  1. Imports your connections

  2. Syncs conversations and messages

  3. Enriches contacts with company and profile data

It all happens in the background throughout the day.

What happens during onboarding?

The Settings tab provides a guided onboarding checklist:

  • Complete your company profile

  • Define your ideal customer profile (ICP)

  • Connect communication channels

  • Set up your team, billing, and security

Your progress is tracked, so you can pick up where you left off.

How does the platform decide who my priority prospects are?

The Home dashboard uses AI to rank prospects by urgency and opportunity. It highlights who’s most likely to convert today — based on engagement signals and pipeline context — so you always know where to focus.
